Service Costs - Far too excessive
Great Customer service from all the staff at Sytner Birmingham
I have had my cars serviced at Sytner now for many years,and always found customer service and after care very good.
Had to re-book again for TMPS/RDC problem again.
service was excellent, however the car was not cleaned properly
see above also one item not sorted
Had no issues the emailed video was a good touch. Always bring my car to the same bmw as they can be trusted.
Good communication. Had ordered in parts in advance to be able to fix passenger seatbelt warning warranty issue on the day.
The team have always been good to me, Karen, Chelsea, Jo, Olle and tasha
from booking through to service drop off and collection very efficient.
Always kept updated on progress, Natascha is very organised and efficient, and most importantly, builds a great rapport with customers.

Service section run by professional staff both on the reception and the workshop machines are well trained and do their work to the utmost satisfaction of customer
Everything was looked at, understood and fixed. Natasha was proactive and helpful throughout.
The member of staff Gareth who dealt with us was very reliable and efficient and delivered what he said he would do trustworthy
Oliver Huxtable understands my service requirements and always seems keen to help me out. No issues with service department on my current cars or past experience. It's great being able to just pick the phone up and talk to Oliver at any point.

Did what they said they would do.
recently when i went for a servcie, they found other issue with the car e.g. air condititioning from the first service. the was unhappy with £95 investigation price charge and then will charge the cost for fixing issue aswell.
Car always well looked after and given a fantastic valet, everything explained on what has been carried out

Customer experience was really good
The service itself was handled very well. There was however a small issue with the tyre valves which were impossible to remove and instead of checking length of ownership/warranty I felt BMW were too quick in trying to pass the cost to me.
from entering showroom all the way to leaving everyone i met was friendly , receptionists were the highlight of my day, they never stopped smiling despite some rudeness from one customer.

The car was cleaned to a high standard after the work complete, although on the call I was told 90 minutes yet when I arrived it took just over 2 hours.

Unecessary sales call during service. I'd already told 2 previous callers I wasn't interested in changing my vehicle. This hard sell approach does Sytner no favours and is a cause of customer irritation.

I cant trust them with my car, they put in a damaged case over my fuse box and the engineer tried to glue it together. I've had my car from sytner for 3 yrs, took it there for all issues and maintenance,now its been an expensive lesson learnt.

Communication was poor - a fault was being investigated, and while I understand that it was not easy to detect, I had to request updates, which were slow in coming, rather than there being proactive engagement from the staff concerned.

I was looked after extremely well by the service department, However, I asked to speak to a salesman about a query I had and nobody responded. There appeared to be a resourcing issue, but no one followed up?

I found the purchasing experience much more straightfoward and less gruelling than when buying my previous car from a different BMW dealer.
The purchase was frustrating given that I had to go to the Birmingham branch to get a better deal on the 435d that I wanted to but in the Oldbury branch . However all the paper work was completed quickly and the car was delivered as promised
